You Don’t Need a Plan. You Need a First Step
Three questions to help you start organizing right where you are
So many people don’t organize, or stall in organizing, because they’re overwhelmed. Isolated. Unsure where to start.
So here’s something simple: 3 questions. That’s it.
Ask them to yourself. Ask them to someone you trust. Let the answers shape your next step.
1. Who do you trust?
Not who’s the loudest. Not who agrees with you on social media.
Who do you trust to keep a confidence?
What about who will show up on time?
Or, who will tell you the truth, even when it’s a disagreement?
2. What are people already frustrated about?
Not in a general sense. Specifically, what's got people pissed this week, or what’s been building to a crescendo this month?
The boss cutting hours?
The city paving rich neighborhoods while yours floods?
3. Where do decisions get made?
Every workplace, every town, every school has a center of gravity. Find it.
That’s where your pressure goes.
Start there. Start small. But start.
The conditions don’t have to be perfect. The moment doesn’t have to feel revolutionary.
Remember: Organizing isn’t a vibe. It’s a practice.
Let me know what you’re kicking off this week. And if you’re stuck, drop a comment. Let’s help each other grow and sharpen the tools at our disposal.
We build power by moving together.
